I went here and had a great experience renting at the range and with the lady at the front desk. When I went to buy personal use mags for my Glock 19 to leave with my brother in Texas at the pro shop the salesperson refused to sell them to me due to having a California license. When I stated that I was surprised Nardi’s enforced California State laws, and reminded them that it was not a crime to sell them to me, but only for ME to import them into California, the salesman stated that the “Feds” had been on them because “they caught a guy with a drum mag in California and a Nardi’s reciept and were all over for them for it so they don’t want the trouble of selling to California residents.” When I asked why the “Feds” were enforcing California State Laws he said “Man it’s the ATF” which again made even less sense. He went on to say “It’s my FFL, my store, and my employees so it’s my decision” when confronted with logic. Anyway I’m not doing business with people that at their core don’t really support the second amendment, do Newsom’s bidding secondhand, and make up stories.

Came here twice during my trip. John in the range section was a huge help each time. Great customer service and really knows his stuff. Got to try out firearms that I don’t have access to in my home state. All around a great experience.
Very friendly and helpful staff , had a problem with my gun jamming and even though the gunsmith wasn’t there the manager took the time to help me fix the problem.
Nardis Gun Club at Alamo Ranch is truly one of the best shooting ranges in the area! The staff is always incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or completely new to firearms, they go above and beyond to make you feel safe, informed, and confident. As a novice, I appreciated how patient and knowledgeable the team was, they’re more than happy to offer guidance and tips without ever making you feel uncomfortable or intimidated. The entire environment is clean, well-organized, and clearly focused on safety and customer experience. I always leave feeling more confident and better equipped.
