How do I sign up for a course?

You register by sending an email with the class date, time, your name, voucher or PayPal receipt number, and phone number to the provided email address. Please send a separate email for each participant. Confirmations are handled manually and may take up to 72 hours.

What are the age limits for your classes?

Age requirements vary by course. Some courses are open to ages 12+, others 14+, and some require participants to be 17 or older. Specific courses like the NRA Basic Pistol Course are exclusively for New York State residents aged 21 and up.

What's your policy on cancellations and rescheduling?

If you don't show up for a class, you'll forfeit your voucher. For rescheduling, we require at least 72 hours' notice and a $25 fee applies for changes to the date or time. You can transfer your voucher to another person without charge if needed. For the 'Intro to PRS' course, payments are non-refundable but can be transferred to a different class with 14 days' notice.

What equipment should I bring to class?

Required materials differ per course. Generally, you'll need your own firearm (if you have one and it's permitted), specific ammunition, eye and ear protection (which we can provide if you don't have your own), and a pen. Longer courses might require a bagged lunch, bottled water, a chair, and specialized gear like a bipod or spotting scope.

Are firearms and ammunition provided or available for purchase?

For some courses, such as the NRA Basic Pistol Course, a firearm can be provided if necessary. For Long Range Shooting and Intro to PRS, loaner rifles are available with advance notice, and low-cost match-grade ammunition can be purchased on-site. However, for Defensive Shooting I, you must bring your own as loaners are not available.

Are there any residency or citizenship requirements to enroll?

Yes, our courses are generally for U.S. Citizens or Non-U.S. citizens who are lawful permanent residents, refugees, or individuals granted asylum. Visa holders are not eligible for any courses involving firearms. Please note that some courses, like the NRA Basic Pistol, are specifically for New York State residents aged 21 and older.

Frank and team were awesome. This was my first long range experience and I got to learn the techniques to calculate for wind, spin and elevation from the best. Instructors were all extremely professional and friendly. I and my friend got paired up with Frank who was patient as we discovered our rifles and scopes in a different light. Our prior shooting experiences were at a flat trajectory at state gun ranges for 100 yards so this opened up a whole different world of calculating MOA adjustments at different target sizes, distances, etc. Planning to come back and do this next year again! I just did the Defensive shooting 1 course with these guys. The instructors were very knowledgeable, welcoming and accommodating. With the combat and firearm experience shared between them I felt like I was in good hands. The course itself was well thought out and had great pacing. I learned very valuable and crucial skills and sharpened existing ones. I'm looking forward to their Defensive shooting 2 course in the fall.

Long Range Shooting Class - outstanding overall experience this past weekend. All instructors were knowledgeable, pleasant and showed outstanding patience with all levels of shooters. Course was paced for all levels - facilities were well kept. All aspects of long range shooting was covered to ensure your success. You proceed thru all yardages at a nice click to reach the ultimate goal of hitting 1040. Bucket list complete - three hits at 1040 with adjustments after two corrections.

Def I is a great course to learn the fundamentals of using your firearm in defensive situations. They teach proper stance, using your sights for close quarters and dealing with stoppages as well as shooting under mental and physical stress and more. The instructors were experienced and safety is priority number one, and they are always open to student feedback. I highly recommend this course.
