Virtual Room offers an unparalleled collaborative virtual reality experience, merging the thrill of escape games with cinematic adventure. Teams of 2-4 players embark on unique VR missions, solving puzzles and working together in a specially designed room equipped with cutting-edge technology. It's a fantastic way to share moments of complicity, test your deduction skills, and enjoy an immersive, team-based virtual reality game, perfect for friends, families, and corporate team building.
We were really excited to try this place based on the great reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was not great. We were made to wait 20 minutes past our booking time without any explanation, and once the game started, it had to be reset again with no communication suddenly placing us in a completely different virtual environment with no context. Throughout the game, we could clearly hear other groups talking in nearby rooms, which made it hard to hear the instructions. One of the levels couldn’t be completed due to a technical issue with the room’s alignment, preventing us from accessing a key item. Despite these problems, there was no assistance from staff after the first level, or even after it ended. Once the game ended we were left on our own and eventually just walked out without any guidance or follow-up. It felt like there was potential for a fun experience, but poor communication and lack of support from the staff really let it down. Overall, it was very disappointing.
Disappointing Experience at Virtual Room West Melbourne We booked Virtual Room West Melbourne for our daughter's 12th birthday, expecting a fun celebration for her and her friends (7 kids aged 10-13). Unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations. The booking process was chaotic, with staff sending invoices with incorrect amounts multiple times. Despite this, we managed to secure the booking and were promised a 2-game package for each child over 2 hours, plus use of the space for cake cutting and snacks. However, the experience was marred by poor communication and technical issues. The kids were divided into two groups for gaming, but one group sat idle for an hour due to technical problems, which weren't communicated to us until we asked. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and one child left in tears, disappointed. We suggested a workaround to ensure everyone got to play at least one game, but it was clear the venue was unprepared. In the end, only 3 kids got to play 2 games, while others got 1 game and some "complimentary" VR time, which was unimpressive. The lack of communication, poor attitude, and unprofessionalism were disappointing. Given the high ratings and impressive website, we expected more. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this venue for kids' birthday celebrations. Look elsewhere for a better experience.

What an incredible experience! Big thanks to Douglas for being an awesome host and making it an unforgettable session - so much fun! The graphics are incredible and the interface is amazing. Definitely recommend it was fantastic fun, so many giggles and a few frights too.
Loved the experience, and the host. Douglas made the experience super awesome, and was there to prompt us when need with little hint. Even shared some secret deals with me for booking next time. We will definitely come back my son and I had a great time. It's fun for the whole family.
This was such an amazing experience! Douglas was one of the funniest guys and he’s so knowledgeable and probably one of the best game masters out there. I love that this place offers games for different levels and you’ll be taken great care of if this is your first VR experience!! Will be back to try the other 3 levels soon!
