The Axe Pit is an absolute blast. The crew there is awesome, super friendly, patient, and they make you feel like a pro even if you have never touched an axe before. They give you quick tips and before you know it you are nailing bullseyes and cheering with your friends. The vibe is just pure fun. Music going, people laughing, and that rush you get when the axe finally sticks is unbeatable. It is the perfect mix of competition and just letting loose. If you are looking for something different to do in Portland this is it. I had such a good time and I am already planning my next visit.
A fun vibe place to throw axes, with onsite bar. Indoor and outdoor lanes, and you can request the box of bonus items to throw including shuriken and throwing knives. Previous experience is helpful, but not required as part of the safety message includes tips on how to throw correctly. In the bar area several other games are available if an throwing axe isn't your thing. A selection of hand forged items and other store themed trinkets/ souvenirs are available for purchase. An excellent experience, already planning a trip back.
Great experience trying something new. Professional company and safely executed. Drink selection is great and a good place to hang out overall. There are quite a few games to play if you get there early.
