I am an escape room enthusiast, and have played several dozen at this point all over the Houston area. This was my first experience at Exit Lab, but won’t be my last. Take care, because GPS will lie to you when it says, “Arrived.” It is down a hall at the end of the shopping strip. We had Ivan at the front desk, and as our game master. It was obvious he LOVES his job, and you could feel his positive energy throughout the experience. We played the zombie themed room, which was definitely a challenge! The one thing I took issue with was some pretty specific and clear instructions that indicated “communication” with someone was necessary, but it wasn’t. It was a physical clue hiding somewhere I didn’t think to look because we were so stuck on the instructions about communication. But, that was no big deal. Most of the tasks were real thinkers, and we definitely needed all the clues. I’d love to come back and play The Return, a rare 90-minute game! Despite the area this is located in, the quality is definitely high!

We had an amazing time here! I took my kids, and it was the perfect mix of challenge and fun for the whole family. The puzzles were creative, engaging, and just the right level of difficulty to keep us thinking without getting frustrated. The staff was friendly and explained everything clearly before we started, making sure we felt comfortable and ready to dive in. The room itself was impressively designed, with immersive details that made us feel like we were part of an adventure. Watching my kids work together to solve clues was a highlight, and we all left feeling accomplished and eager to try another one! If you’re looking for a fun family activity that encourages teamwork and problem-solving, I highly recommend Exit Lab Houston. We’ll definitely be back for another challenge!

My Sugar Bear & I enjoyed the Crazy Artist escape room at Exit Lab. It was our first time here (but 3rd escape room). We enjoyed the level of difficulty, but we were offered helpful clues when requested from a walkie/talkie system. It definitely had that personal interaction touch from the employees, and we thought it was our favorite so far. I appreciate that they offered a $3 discount for our first responders. How about a teacher discount as well? The location was close off the feeder (easy to find), and it was a PERFECT date opportunity on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We finished with 15 minutes to spare. Suggestion to owners: I would have done a 2nd escape room on the spot if there would have been space and a 1/2 off discount for a second room. Just an idea because my Sugar Pie and I enjoyed it so much. Thanks for the FUN! 🤩

Lerra, our host, was great! After we made it through the room, she went through and helped us see things that we did well and places for opportunity. Although it was an “easy” room meant for 8 people, it was difficult for 3. It was the NYC Hotel room. This was one of the “hole in the wall” kind of places, and some of the props were busted, but it exceeded our expectations when it came to the gameplay. We’ve never done an escape room with so few people, but that’s a fun way to make it more challenging if you’ve done many of them.

Great place for kids to spend time creatively. The staff is really nice and helpful. My kids had fun in the Zombie bunker. The setting was immersive, and the puzzles were engaging yet age-appropriate, striking the perfect balance between challenging and fun. It was amazing to watch them work together, think critically, and celebrate every little victory along the way. Perfect place for families and friends to enjoy some togetherness. We can’t wait to return and try another room!
