Jerry is a great axe throwing host! We went for a birthday, and he made sure everyone was up to speed before beginning time for the game. He’s super serious about making sure everyone is being safe so that we all have fun. Down to earth guy and funny. Very glad we chose this location for a casual time with friends.
I just had my retirement party at Texas Lumberjaxe. We had a great instructor and the games were so fun! They had a nice area for our snack table. I highly recommend this location for get-togethers with your friends!

Held my birthday party here this last weekend and had a great time! We had a few first time axe throwers. Jerry did a great job teaching us all, providing games to play, and cracking jokes with us. Would definitely recommend to any other groups looking for a fun activity!
Not gonna lie… I did not think this was gonna be very much fun. I just came to watch. It was SUPER fun though! Jerry is really good and he kinda gives everybody a tutorial first if you’ve never done it before. And he goes over safety measures. But the atmosphere is relaxed, there’s good music, the place is clean. Texas themed decoration is cool too. I just thought people came in and threw axes at the wall. But then I realized there’s a game. It’s actually challenging and competitive (if you want it to be). So for all of you that might be skeptical like I was - just go ahead and give it a chance!
It was my first time at this veteran owned establishment! It is nestled in quaint downtown Carrollton, which i had never been to. I had an amazing time.i it was clean and inviting. The owner and his son were very nice and accommodating. They showed how to throw the axel and gave pointers throughout our time. I highly recommend trying this place out. Or if you want to visit this cute little area hidden away surrounded by a big city with a little country feel. I will be going back again!
