I have done quite a few escape rooms before but this location has to be one of my favorites! My brother and I took on the Prison Escape room and it was so much fun. All of the puzzles were intuitive and well designed and it was a very polished experience all throughout. Our game master, Jaden, was super kind and helpful. I will definitely come back and do more of their rooms next time I visit Chicago.

We enjoyed the first escape room (Voodoo) so much that we added on a second one (Insane Asylum) right after! While I've only done one escape room in the past, the other two in my group have completed almost a dozen between both of them, and they both enjoyed PanIQ more than the others due to the variety of challenges ("not just a bunch of locks"). All in all, a fun way to spend a couple of hours working together. Staff was friendly & encouraging, and gave us the right level of hints to guide us as needed.
First time for my wife and I doing an escape room and Jim and Connor were terrific hosts! They were patient with us (mostly me). We did The Mob room, mild to moderately complex once I realized what needed to get done. One of a kind date night!
Absolutely one of the highlights of our trip to Chicago. We took the kids to PanIQ Escape Room and did the prison themed room and it was a total hit for the whole family. The experience was incredibly well run from start to finish. It was clean, organized, professional, and full of energy and fun. The prison setup was immersive and just the right balance of challenging and exciting. The puzzles made us think but were designed in a way that everyone, even the kids, could get involved and feel like part of the team. It was a great way to work together and share a lot of laughs along the way. Special shoutout to Alex, our host, who truly made the experience what it was. From the moment we walked in, he was welcoming, enthusiastic, and great with the kids. He knew just when to step in with a helpful nudge and kept things moving without giving too much away. You could tell he genuinely wanted us to have a great time. We’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in town and we’re bringing more family with us. Highly recommend PanIQ for anyone looking for a fun and memorable group activity in Chicago.
