I can't recommend Tony enough as an instructor at. NorthShore Sports in Crystal Lake! His expertise and ability to make the class engaging and informative are unparalleled. What I really appreciated about Tony is how he creates an environment where no matter your skill level or experience, you never feel out of place. He’s patient, knowledgeable, and truly makes the experience enjoyable. NorthShore Sports is the only shooting range in the area where I feel completely comfortable going on my own, without my husband. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to answer any questions, making it a welcoming space for everyone. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, you’ll feel right at home here. Highly recommend both the facility and Tony as an instructor – such a great experience every time!
I'd rate 6 stars if I could. Can't think of a single complaint. The best part about NS Crystal Lake is has to be the staff. They're a fantastic crew full of knowledge, understanding, are extremely down-to-earth, smart and safety oriented without being uptight or unreasonable. The storefront is always clean, organized, and bright and the ranges are always clean and functional. In addition, this Crystal Lake location seems to be the only place anywhere remotely nearby that offers steel target shoot competitions which are extremely fun and provide the opportunity to shoot under added pressure which is fantastic for training. Can't say enough about this place or the staff. The only downside is I don't live closer.
I depend on reviews often so I thought I would share our experience with NorthShore Sports. We had a very pleasant experience from the moment we walked in the door. We were greeted by a smiling and friendly lady at the counter. Don't recall her name but I will change that the next time we visit. We waited a short time to begin our class. Our instructor was engaging and most of all very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend NorthShore Sports.
