I’ve taken a few Illinois CCL classes over the years, and this one stood out in a negative way..
It opened with general criticism instead of constructive instruction, attributed to past bad students, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional.
While I understand the importance of regular practice, some comments came across as judgmental and out of place for a renewal class that should focus on safe handling and legal compliance.
One Range Officer supervising shooting qualifications for students using rental firearms appeared annoyed that it was a renewal class day. He was visibly impatient, and his communication was minimal and dismissive rather than instructional.
There was also promotion of USCCA, with membership signup forms pre-placed at each student’s desk, which felt more like pressured marketing than optional information.
The overall tone was tense and discouraging compared to other CCL classes I’ve attended.
I likely won’t return for future classes.

Booking & Cancellation
For class or event cancellations, rescheduling more than 7 days in advance incurs no charge. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days prior, a fee of $25 applies to renewal classes or private lessons, and $75 for all other classes. Cancellations made 72 hours or less before the scheduled time will result in forfeiture of the entire class fee.

This is the best range and gun shop I have visited. Staff is very friendly and super knowledgeable! They never make anyone feel like they don’t belong there. Rare to find in the gun ranges and shops I’ve visited. This is my favorite range hands down!
I am so glad I became a member at this shooting range. Everyone is super helpful every time I go to get some practice in the instructors. There are super friendly super helpful every time I go. It is a great experience. Highly recommend going here if you want a nice experience while practicing your shooting very clean place never seen any mess in the store or in the range all in all I would rated a 10 out of 10 keep up the good work guys
One of the better shooting range in the area. I just signed up for their membership. They have multiple packages. I selected Monday to Thursday, I can go any time. Have priority reservation using their website or by calling it in. With membership you get unlimited lane rental, fire arm rental for free. You only need to buy ammunition and a target. You can also bring your own gun and shoot here. If you are not looking for a membership you can rent the lane each time and pay for the rental etc.They also offer classes. This range is very well organized and have multiple lanes for target practice. Staff there is extremely courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend them.
