How do I sign up for a class?

You can sign up for public classes by checking our training calendar online. For private group classes, you can learn more on our website and arrange a booking directly with us.

What is your policy on canceling or rescheduling public classes?

If you reschedule with more than 72 hours' notice, your class fee can be credited to a future class. With less than 72 hours' notice, a $15 administrative fee applies for credit to a future class. Student cancellations incur a $15 fee. No-shows receive no refund. Alpha Koncepts cancellations result in a full refund or credit without penalty.

What is the cancellation policy for private or group classes?

A typically 50% non-refundable down payment is required for private classes. This down payment is not refunded if your group cancels or reschedules. If Alpha Koncepts cancels, you'll have the option of a full refund or credit to future classes.

Are there any exceptions for weather-related cancellations?

Weather conditions are not generally an acceptable reason to cancel or reschedule, except for life-threatening conditions like a tornado, lightning (for outdoor classes), hurricane, or earthquake. Snow, rain, heat, and cold are not considered valid reasons.

How do I contact Alpha Koncepts to reschedule or cancel a class?

You must contact us in writing using the contact form on our website. If you don't receive a reply within 24 hours, please call 847-612-3952 to ensure your message was received.

My CC refresher course was mandatory to renew my license but Thomas made sure to make the class informative and attention-holding. He lead the class with professionalism and addressed an array of topics including transporting, carrying , using, and responsibly owning your firearms and included stories from his own experience as a firearms owner and instructor. I plan to take other classes offered by Alpha Koncepts in the future.

Booking & Cancellation

For public classes, rescheduling more than 72 hours in advance allows for credit towards a future class without extra charge. Rescheduling less than 72 hours beforehand incurs a $15 administrative fee for future class credit; refunds are not an option. Student cancellations generally incur a $15 administrative fee. If Alpha Koncepts cancels a class, students can opt for a full refund or credit. I really learned a lot and enjoyed the course. Thomas is a very experienced and knowledgeable CCL teacher. The class covered very balanced material which included handgun techniques, CCL related laws, hands-on practice with equipment, and a discussion of real-life scenarios with insights about what to do. I had a great experience in my concealed carry weekend class. Thomas was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and very helpful throughout the entire course.
