Took my 10yo city dwelling, video game playing grandson to Poco Loco for a day of outdoor fun and adventure and it did not disappoint. The manager, Jeff hooked my grandson up with a great group of kids his own age, rented the equipment and gave the kids a safety meeting before sending them into the woods on their mission with a referee. As grandma sat at a picnic table away from the action, I could see the referee provide my little beginner extra TLC. In addition to having the time of his life paintballing, he made friends with the kids in his group and was invited to stay on for their birthday celebration of pizza and cake. Great place, great people!

10/5/24 Played here before (also a great time) a few years back and this return trip for my bachelor party was just awesome. The pricing was great, our ref was super chill and really took care of our group. We had one friend who unfortunately had his glasses fog up a lot and the ref literally cleaned his glasses up between every round so he could play without going blind halfway through every round. I think his name was Alex? Alec? Like… he didn’t have to do that, he didn’t show an ounce of discontent with it. He fully made sure our boy Noah was able to stay in the game as best as possible. The willingness to help was second to none. The maps and the way the teams were set up and tweaked through the day kept it interesting and the adrenaline high. Everyone that works there has an awesome attitude. It’s nice when you go to a place and they actively appreciate your business and really work to make sure everyone is enjoying their time there. They also hooked us up with a ton of coupons and gift cards for our next visit. Literally no companies do that any more, and that was on top of the already good pricing. The whole group was stoked on how we were able to play as much as we did, for what we paid. We made a ton of great memories. Thanks poco loco for a truly memorable day.
Cool facility but I was unimpressed with the owners attitude when I got there. I brought my youth group to the field and had called ahead days before to let them know we were coming. I talked to the owner and was able to meet all the requirements (liability waivers, calling ahead, paying online, etc.) We get to the field and the owner just shouts out “no hoodies on, it’s against the rules” and had never put it online or said it over the phone. One of my kids didn’t have any shirts on underneath! I confronted him about it and recommended he put it online next time but he said “logic dictates that you shouldn’t wear a hoodie in the summer”. Sorry, my kids were scared of getting hurt! It shouldn’t be up to me to meet all the requirements if there is no way of knowing them ahead of time! Other than the owner, the refs we had was nice. Dylan I think was his name. He was 19 and handled a group of 10-11 year old boys pretty well. We were a large group for one ref to handle and he managed just fine. The training ref did a good job too being funny while also going over the rules of play. I also liked the maps a lot. We only got to do two maps but there are a bunch. Next time I go back I’ll see how the other ones compare to castle and the map with the bus on it.
I have been there many times and had a great time. Today was for my sons birthday party and it was a hit with everyone from experienced players to first timers. The ref, Dean, was awesome and is passionate about the sport and engaged with everyone in our group. Hats off to the owner Jeff, he and his team are great and very helpful. Highly recommend this for everyone!
