Awesome place! We had lots of fun and the guy that instructed us had tons of different games. I would highly recommend a minimum of 2 hours. Bring your own food and alcohol too which makes it a perfect place for a hatchet picnic 😂. Thanks for the fun evening...
As a first time axe thrower Santiago was an absolute gem to work with. We had a group of 10 people come and he was very gracious and patient in explaining the rules to us. He didn’t make us newbies feel bad and provided great helpful tips. He also helped us run several different games and put up with our craziness! We came over an hour away with friends coming from NYC and it was well worth the trip! Santiago’s phenomenal!

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund. For same-day bookings, a 2-hour window from booking creation is provided for a full refund. Same-day cancellations may opt for a 50% refund or reschedule for a non-peak time. Rescheduling within 24 hours of the event is only for non-peak times. Same-day rescheduled events are not eligible for refunds. Canceled events can be rescheduled within 2 years from the cancellation date.

Came here on a weekend and it was SO much fun!! Ill be honest - the concept of throwing axes onto a wooden board made me a little nervous but it turned out to be so stress relieving and a lot of fun. Our instructor, Santiago was the BEST. He explains it in such an easy way, helping guide you to getting your perfect throw. Super encouraging and patient too! I started off barely making an axe in and by the end hitting bullseyes in no time. The front desk staff are also incredibly sweet and welcoming too. 5 stars!
Yesterday afternoon I was able to take my mother here for a surprise outing. My mother always encouraged my sister and I to be strong, independent and never afraid to experience new things. My mother, who is in her mid 70's, was a bit nervous when we got there, but Nicole was amazing and really took her time in explaining each step of the process. She was so encouraging and really made my mom feel so comfortable. I think we were both pretty impressed how well my mom did as a first timer. It was nice to see my mom have so much fun, laugh, smile and accomplish something she has never done before. I cannot thank Nicole and the team at Bury the Hatchet (Paramus) for this memorable experience. Maybe next time I'll be able to bring my father. =)
