Tek is an awesome teacher. I signed up for a 1 on 1 pistol course and he had reached out not too long after me registering. He starts the class off going over safety and a plan for medical. Then from there the class is pretty fluid and dynamic. He has a syllabus but assessed me as we went through and didn’t spend too much time in areas that I was familiar with. The only prior training I have is military. I was looking for some help in a specific area and that is what he delivered. All instruction was at my pace and clear. If I had any questions he answered them without hesitation. I would definitely recommend him to any one of any skill level looking for training. Within the short time of the class I already feel more confident in my shooting ability. He demonstrates all his philosophies and teachings first hand and before he has you do any of the exercises.

I attended a day long 1on1 with Joel for my first proper performance pistol class and I have no regrets. When searching for local instructors I came across Teknical Methodz and immediately knew that’s where I wanted to start my journey. I have no regrets and can’t say enough good things about him. He takes it at your pace and focuses on your needs and intentions. I wish I could give 10 stars and look forward to continuing this journey.

Today I had my Concealed Performance Methodz training with Joel, and it was absolutely mind-blowing. The session was packed with both in-depth knowledge and hands-on practice. I recently took a pistol dynamics class with my father, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The instructor’s competence and expertise were evident from the start. He broke down each technique with precision and made sure everyone understood the concepts before moving on. His patience was truly remarkable, taking the time to address individual questions and offering personalized feedback without ever making anyone feel rushed or overwhelmed. What truly set this class apart was his incredible sense of humor. He managed to balance professionalism with lightheartedness, keeping the atmosphere engaging and fun while still delivering top-notch training. It made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable and kept everyone relaxed and focused. One of the most impressive aspects was how supportive and encouraging he was toward my father, who is considering becoming an instructor himself. The instructor openly shared valuable insights and advice on how to get into the field without holding anything back. It was clear that he genuinely wanted to see others succeed and improve their marksmanship skills, regardless of whether they were students or aspiring professionals. Another detail that really stood out was how he took the time to assign roles to everyone in case of a medical emergency. Knowing that everyone had a specific responsibility if something were to go wrong made me feel much more secure and showed his commitment to safety and preparedness. What really showed his dedication to providing the best experience possible was that he took the time to ask me, my father, and everyone in the class how he could improve in any way. That kind of commitment to constantly bettering his teaching shows how much he truly cares about his students and the quality of his instruction. On top of that, his ability to connect with everyone in the class created a comfortable and encouraging environment. Plus, considering the high quality of the training, the class was very affordable and well worth the investment. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I highly recommend taking his class—you won’t be disappointed!
