Shooters World
Shooters World Orlando is Florida's largest indoor shooting range and gun store, offering an expansive 74,000-square-foot facility for all skill levels. Whether you're a first-time shooter or a seasoned enthusiast, you'll find a safe, family-oriented environment with 58 lanes, including options for high calibers. They also provide comprehensive firearms training, host private events, and offer gunsmith services, ensuring a world-class experience just minutes from Universal Studios.
My husband and I love going to the range and playing games to see who is a better shot with our various pistols. We'll give one another a section on a target with 5-10 bullets in a magazine to work with from 7-10 yards away, depending on the caliber. Loser buys dinner. We also enjoy practicing with our carry pieces so we can stay sharp in the event of an emergency. We both prefer the Villages location over the Orlando location because the staff is a little more relaxed. Some of the guys in Orlando can be jerks and talk down to customers whereas the older gentleman at the Villages are more inviting and cordial with shoppers. They also don't chastise you for drinking water against the wall, away from the lanes. I understand they're trying to prevent potential spills but they could be less hostile about it because I'm not a toddler. I know how to drink from a variety of vessels whilst maintaining full control of them. I had a guy in Orlando scream at me like I'd just released a battalion of squirrels in the range. There's no need for that kind of hostility. You CAN say things politely to others. So I suggest all go to the Villages instead of Orlando where quenching your thirst isn't viewed as threat, in those dry ass range rooms and staff are more delightful to converse with. There's generally plenty of parking available at both locations. My main complaint about both stores is that they never have any Beretta's in stock! Smaller, local gun stores have plenty but Shooter's World never has any new ones. I understand that they're imported but I want to expand my Beretta collection and they never have any of the guns they display in the circle of guns in stock. If you never a particular gun brand or model in stock, stop displaying them like you do. (They also display several Kimber, Walther and Sig's that they never have in stock.) There are a variety of rules for the ranges, like wearing safety glasses and earplugs but also clothing. Also, you can't shoot in slides, flip-flops or sandals. You must wear closed toe shoes and you can't be in a tank top or sleeveless shirt. I don't believe crop tops are allowed either. I personally don't care if a casing were to pop back and burn my arm, or wherever it lands, I'm used to it, but it's a big deal to them because people have jumped and unsafely fired off a round. It's also very cold in the rooms so make sure you dress properly. Also, don't open the range doors if the light is red; wait until it's green. You have to sign a waiver and watch a safety video on a tablet before you can get a shooters card and be permitted to shoot. It costs $10 and you can renew it every year, so don't throw it out if you plan to come back.
First of all, I NEVER give reviews. However, I want to take this Veteran’s Day to shout out an amazing Shooter’s World Instructor and Veteran, Chris! My bestie wanted to shoot guns for the first time for her birthday. Chris was patient, knowledgeable, explained the different guns, and curated a a custom shooting experience for us. We started with 9 mm handguns, then moved to an automatic riffle and finished with a 35-lb sniper riffle. We had to go upstairs to the 100 yard range to shoot the sniper riffle. We had the whole upstairs and range to ourselves. Chris shared with us that he routinely shot the same types of guns while in the military. We took a ton of pictures. We felt safe the entire. I highly recommend Chris (from Puerto Rico) as an instructor!

Shooters World is hands‑down a top‑tier experience for anyone looking to enjoy a safe and well‑run shooting range. The range options are excellent, with multiple lane lengths to suit any skill level, and the facility is clean, modern, and well‑maintained. Pricing is fair considering the quality and variety offered, and the merchandise selection is impressive — from firearms to accessories, there’s something for every enthusiast. Overall, Shooters World combines great service, competitive prices, and a wide range of options, making it a must‑visit for anyone in the area.
I had my first-ever shooting experience at Shooters World Orlando, and it was nothing short of amazing. I drove down from Daytona, and the trip was absolutely worth it. The facility is world-class—spacious, clean, and very professional. The staff were welcoming and focused on safety, which made me feel confident even as a beginner. I got to shoot a Glock 9mm for the very first time. The moment I held it, I could feel the solid build and balance. The recoil on the first shot surprised me, but it was manageable and actually thrilling. With a little guidance from my friend, I quickly got comfortable and even started grouping shots on the target. The whole experience with my friend Shakur was a mix of adrenaline and focus—the sound, the smell of gunpowder, and the challenge of hitting the target. It’s an unforgettable memory and also a reminder of the respect and responsibility that comes with handling firearms. Overall, Shooters World Orlando delivered an awesome first-time gun experience. The Glock 9mm was the perfect choice for a beginner like me—easy to handle, reliable, and fun to shoot. I’d rate it 5/5 and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and exciting introduction to shooting.
This place is AWESOMELY AMAZING!!! I love the ranges for each weapon, and they even have a Blacksmith! This place has two levels and it’s like being a kid in a candy store, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. I had a question about some particular ammo and guns, and Marvin took his time with us and just gave my wife and I so much knowledge and history, It was VERY COOL just hearing him talk
