I ordered the house smash burger which was solid on a potato bun and French fries that tastes similar to McDonald’s at a very reasonable price. This place is most definitely worth hitting up. Smashy is a no frills joint that is clean and you can watch your burger being cooked in front of you.
Stumbled on Smashy while craving fries and ended up finding a great spot. Everything’s made fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. Burger and fries came out to around $8, hard to beat in Union Square. I liked the clean blue-and-white vibe too. The area has a lot of pricier places, but this was a no-fuss, solid option that hit the spot. Super simple menu, so don’t expect anything fancy, but it works.
Smashy is super clean and cute. I love a simple menu. I ordered a single and got it super fast. It was delicious and had yummy crispy edges. I will absolutely be coming back here. The prices are incredible! When a menu is that small, you know they give their food attention. The star is the pickle!!
