Great place. Well worth the drive from Nassau county. Allan was a very helpful safety officer - made me comfortable and gave me lots of flexibility (eg picking lanes and switching) and gave me some good tips. Would love to come back soon.

I had the absolute privilege of taking a rifle lesson with Garry, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had behind a gun. In just one hour, under his guidance, I went from never having shot a bolt-action rifle before to hitting a dime at 200 yards. That kind of progression doesn’t happen without a world-class teacher. Garry is a true legend. He has that rare ability to break down complex mechanics into simple steps that instantly click, while keeping you relaxed and confident the whole time. His knowledge of precision shooting is unmatched, but what impressed me most was how he could tailor the lesson perfectly to my skill level. Every tip he gave made an immediate difference, and he explained not just the “how,” but the “why,” which made it easy to learn and retain. If you’re thinking about taking your marksmanship to the next level, whether you’re brand new like me or already experienced, Garry is the teacher you want by your side. Patient, precise, encouraging, and flat-out brilliant at what he does. One hour with him gave me skills—and a memory—I’ll carry for life.
First Time at Long Island Shooting Range – Awesome Experience! Had my first-ever visit to Long Island Shooting Range this weekend and it was absolutely incredible. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and at ease. Big shoutout to Harrison and Allen – both were outstanding Range Safety Officers. Harrison walked me through everything with patience and professionalism, making sure I was comfortable and confident before we even stepped onto the range. Allen was equally great, super knowledgeable and made sure everyone was safe while still having fun. As someone new to shooting, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The range was clean, well-organized, and had a great vibe overall. I’ll definitely be coming back – highly recommend to anyone, whether it’s your first time or you’re a seasoned shooter. Thanks again to Harrison, Allen, and the whole team!
This is an amazing journey here in Brookhaven shooting range☺️ My first time try shooting and will be my starting with this range today! It’s a full equipped field and all the staff there from registration to the field are so professional. Especially Harrison who’s helped out everything with patience. Highly recommend for everyone from fresh hand to old hand, make sure bring your ear and eye protections in advance.
