We did the Chinese Jewelry Box room and it was an interesting concept and cute, well designed room. Unfortunately the facility was insanely hot and the actual room was no better; the entrance area and front of the room were too dark to see anything past one foot in front of you. The puzzles were interesting and mostly easy enough for two people to solve. They did not allow us to know how much time we had at any point of the game, making it impossible to pace regarding solving and hints. One entire puzzle was left already solved and left open, no fun. Once we finished the last puzzle we did not get a clear answer on whether we solved the room in the hour, the game master just said we had "none" when we asked the time left. It was fun but 100% not worth the exorbitant price.
Wow wow this place exceeded my expectation! I played city of ashes it was really scary... I had so much fun with friends. I can't wait to go back. I hope place bring more rooms so I can play all of them!

Stopped in randomly on a Thursday just after they opened and they were able to accommodate us as a couple for a last minute game. That alone was great. Really appreciate that. We did City of Ashes and had a good time. Definitely horror themed, so be prepared for that. It’s also pretty dark to start. But it’s fun. Moderately difficult if you have experience in escape rooms. No clock to watch, which adds some suspense. And unlimited hints. Recommended
This place is a fantastic escape room! 🔓 Komnata Quest in Brooklyn 🗽 offers great rooms with engaging puzzles! 🧩 We did The City 🏙️ of Ashes ⚱️ room and the Hex 👹 Of The Chinese 🇨🇳 Jewelry 📿 Box 📦 room and it was a blast! Staff is friendly and helpful and there are no time ⏳ penalties for clues. 🔍 I wish I came here more often!
Went for the Hex of the Chinese Jewelry Box with a group of three. Definitely kept us entertained with secret drawers and puzzles to figure out. We didn’t complete it in an hour but they let us go over time since there was no one after us, took about another 15 mins. Has no jump scares and was truly family friendly. After you’re done, feel free to take photos in or out of the room. Jeffrey was great.
