I recently visited BrainXcape Escape Room NYC, and it was my very first escape room experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being so much fun! My group and I had a great time searching for clues and solving puzzles, and even though it was the first time for both of us, we managed to finish the room in under an hour.

Amazing experience!!! The atmosphere starts immediately as we got off the elevator. Our game master Julia set things up perfectly and was bouncing off our energy perfectly. We did Rikers and we had a blast with the challenges and would definitely be coming back for the other rooms.

Such an amazing experience! The set up the music everything incredible. Ryan is so lovely and fun. Such a great crew and escape room. My group of four and i did the bloody circus room and really it was great, so well made and spooky!! Absolutely recommended and the entrance to the place is SO creative! Loved it and would definitely do it again
One of our favorite escape rooms! The décor and overall experience were really well done. We had a great host, Ryan, who was both funny and helpful, which made it even more enjoyable. We did the Haunted Hotel, and it was the perfect mix of puzzles and just the right amount of creepy. Highly recommend to anyone who loves solving challenges and a little scare. Looking forward to trying another room soon — 10/10!
My friends came together to help celebrate my birthday by doing the Haunted Hotel Room. We were really impressed with all the puzzles, how intricate it was, and the thought put into each puzzle. We ALMOST didn’t make it but our amazing host, Julia, made it possible. It was an incredible experience and hope to do it again. Thank you!
