The fields were fine and the refs were nice, but the management is completely amateur. I had booked an end of season paintball party for my team and their families a month ago. At that time I had said we would have between 30-40 players and would require low impact because most of our players are 8 years old. I was assured this was not a problem and we reserved our time of 12 pm. Today when I arrived at 11:40 to check in I was told to wait until everyone got there and hand the waivers in all at once. Not a problem. Pretty standard for any group outing. But no mention that there may be a problem with our reservation. Our entire group shows up by 12 pm. I hand in the waivers. We had a couple more waivers than players. They ask me to take a head count so I don't get overcharged. 12:05 I tell them we have 39 players. Within the range that was stated at the time of the reservation. I was told to give them 10-15 minutes to get the equipment ready then they would do the safety talk and we could start playing. A half hour later, I go to check on the progress and was told they're still getting the equipment ready. I have 22 young children waiting to play and getting antsy. It was one of their birthdays, so instead of doing the cupcakes after we decided to do them before to kill some time. After that I go back to check again and was told they're moving as fast as they can. An hour and a half after our reservation, I finally get a straight answer about why we are still not playing paintball. I was clearly frustrated at this point, so the owner came over to talk to me. I told him if it wasn't for the kids, I would have been gone long before this but they were looking forward to playing. They only had half of the equipment ready, so we sent the kids out to play, which wasn't ideal but it was better than them sitting and waiting. It was going to take another half hour to get the rest of the equipment for the adults. In an effort to calm me down, he told me they would take care of us and he said he would take an additional $20 per player off our group rate. I didn't really care about the money, but it was a nice gesture and I figured he was trying to work with us so ok. I offered to pay right there. He said no. He would tell them the numbers and we could settle up after we played. Being that we were delayed 2 hours from our reservation, people had to leave to get to other obligations. The owner asked if we could settle up because people were leaving. I was paying for the team and he told the parents paying for any additional players.to line up at the window and he left. When I went to pay for the team, it wasn't the $20 per player that was stated earlier. It was $10. Once again, not about the money, just another lie by this place and I’m not going to fight with a kid just working there. On top of that, they accused people of leaving without paying, which did not happen. While we were playing our last round, they took 2 cases of paint that we paid for and didn't get to finish because people had to leave. They told me it was reserved for another group. Not sure how that can be when we bought it. I will not be going back.
We went for my birthday, and it was a truly great time. The fields were a ton of fun and the price was great, but what made it especially good was the service. Everyone was a very kind, and our ref made sure we had a fantastic time (and we did). Highly recommend!

Good, but not great, and that’s not necessarily due to the employees. We were told that our group of 25–30 people could play together at our own skill level using rented equipment. However, when we arrived, we were mixed in with about 15 other players who had their own gear, paint, and a much higher skill level. What was supposed to be a fun, team-based match turned into a chaotic free-for-all with little enforcement of rules. The referees didn’t seem to call out obvious violations like blind firing, shooting players multiple times after they were out, or giving away player positions. My group still had fun being together, but the overall experience was frustrating due to the lack of coordination, poor communication, and uneven team balance. This could have been easily fixed by dividing the groups. Multiple smaller teams could have played capture the flag on a tighter field while larger, more advanced players used the bigger map. Instead, we got a “that’s just how it is, bro” attitude that really soured the experience and caused large delays in gathering groups. To add to the confusion, I was told “no outside paintballs” while being hit with yellow, pink, and blue paint clearly not standard issue, all while having my paintball tank emptied into the trash. It didn’t feel like rules were being enforced consistently. It’s a decent place for walk-ons or solo players who want to jump into random matches for the day, but for large groups looking to play together at their own pace and skill level, we’ll be going elsewhere next time.
Had a great time at Battle Creek!! Paintball , equipment and courses are well kept and great, staff was friendly and fun, and the grounds were beautiful. Recommend you Make a day of it and have lunch with nature. ** according to rumors, the New Jason or Halloween was recently filmed here, I see it
Went here for my 18th birthday and had an amazing time. Our guide/ref Sean was super helpful and cool. Also, if you come here for your birthday make sure you ask to do the gauntlet😉
