Bananas' Axe Cabana - New Rochelle, NY
Unleash your inner warrior at Bananas' Axe Cabana, New Rochelle's premier axe throwing venue. Enjoy an exhilarating blend of tropical ambiance, classic arcade games, and the thrill of axe throwing. It's the perfect spot for friendly competitions, unwinding with a refreshing beverage, or simply enjoying an unforgettable interactive entertainment experience. They also offer private events and team building activities, making it a great choice for groups.
Went with a couple of friends, and it was a lot of fun. We did an hour of axe throwing, and with the reservation, there was a discount for the arcade card. Arcade area was small but it was still worth it. Each game was 8 credits, which was not bad. The only thing was that they don't serve food, just snacks, which was fine because we only did one hour. Overall, it was fun. The staff were great. We would definitely go back again.
One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. We planned a visit in advance, confirmed everything with the Owner ahead of time, and still got turned away at the door. The manager, John, was not only unhelpful but flat-out rude and dismissive to our entire group. His reasoning? Children aren’t allowed because the venue serves alcohol. It is important to note that there is an arcade for kids and families in this venue. So this is a completely outdated and ridiculous policy, especially considering family-friendly businesses like bowling alleys, Topgolf, and Dave & Buster’s all serve alcohol while welcoming families. If the concern is safety or behavior, then enforce rules or have waivers stating gaming will be revoked if rules are not being followed, don’t use alcohol as an excuse to exclude families, especially when your space was nearly empty on a Friday night. We were ready to spend our evening and money there but ended up going to another venue where we were welcomed without issue. Clearly, this place values rigid, poorly thought-out policies over customer experience. If this is how management treats guests, I won’t be returning—and I suggest others think twice before supporting a business that treats paying customers and families this way. Furthermore, John’s (manager) rudeness and lack of professionalism are concerning and need to be addressed, as he represents the brand and significantly influences how it is perceived by customers.

All sales are final. However, you have the option to purchase rescheduling/store credit protection for an additional $2.00 plus taxes/fees per person at the time of booking. This protection allows you to reschedule your booking as many times as needed or cancel for a store credit equal to the amount paid. Without this protection, no rescheduling or credits will be issued. Any exceptions to this policy are at the discretion of Bananas’ Axe Cabana management.

Great environment to have a fun time with friends or your family. Has arcades. But the most challenging in the "ax throwing". Personnel very friendly, communicative. Family from Florida and NC came for my grandson's high school graduation. Thank you so much for making it special 💗
We had a great time at Bananas' Axe Cabana for our company event! Stuart was very helpful in planning and made sure we had everything set up beforehand. The place is spacious and our team enjoyed both axe throwing and other games they have (very fun!). We did tacos for catering and the food was great. The staff was professional and helpful throughout. Recommend for a team event or a night out!
Our first time axe throwing—and what an awesome experience! John guided us through the introduction and training, making it easy to understand the technique. It’s pretty simple to pick up and so much fun once you get the hang of it. John was all about hospitality—he made us feel welcome, comfortable, and confident that we were going to have a great time. And we absolutely did! They serve beer and wine, and food is coming soon too. Honestly, way better than a typical movie night—we’ll definitely be back. There are tons of different games to play while throwing. The computer system is super user-friendly and lets you choose from classic target games, Tic-Tac-Toe, zombie slaying, and all kinds of fun, old-school favorites!
