Area53 - Adventure Park
Visited at night. Music too loud, lights too dim, not enough to actually do, felt kind of dingy and like everything has seen better days. Not all of the games work properly - we paid for air hockey, there was no puck, we asked someone if they could help and that person just... walked away and didn't come back. I've enjoyed laser tag at their other location, and it's a cool concept, but not at all worth $40 for entry.
An overly expensive zoo! I had gotten there around 9pm, and it was so crowded. And my large pizza pie cost $30. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. Just too expensive and too crowded. Also…while eating, you have people flying over your head from Ziplining. Just saying.

Ultimate Adventure at Area 53! Area 53 is an absolute must-visit if you’re looking for an action-packed experience! From the moment we walked in, the energy was high, and the variety of activities kept us entertained for hours. The laser tag arena was intense and immersive, with cool obstacles that made it feel like a real battleground. The obstacle course and trampoline park added to the fun, making it a perfect spot for both kids and adults. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and safe experience. Whether you’re going with friends, family, or even on a date, Area 53 is the perfect place for some high-energy fun. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something different in NYC!
Fun place for kids. We went on a Saturday morning around 10am. We were able to buy tickets on Groupon to save money. It was no line and not packed in the morning. Perfect time to go. We did the 3 hour pass which was enough time for the kids to play. I recommend getting tickets in advance. The zip lining was fun. They enjoyed the ball pit and rock climbing. We didn't do any paintballing. Facility seemed clean. Arcade is extra and the kids enjoyed the games. Although we brought our own...Overpriced water!!!! $6 for a water bottle, ridiculous! They do have food but we didn't buy any. Overall a really fun place for kids. I do recommend.
Activities are decent. Staff were cool. Building is freezing!!!! Even employees have on coats and hats. Don’t come here if it’s cold outside, it will feel the same inside. See photos of customers with coats and hats on.
