Very fun family experience. Got this as a fun thing to do family CHRISTMAS gift. I am all about experiences rather than stuff! I would recommend it to anyone looking for something different and action packed. Kids loved it. We did the Everworld. NEAT! :)
I don’t usually write bad reviews, but I wouldn’t waste the time or money on this. It was a disappointing experience and not worth the money. The tech that was used seemed like something from 15 years ago. As a family of four and the price we paid, we could have easily bought an off the shelf VR headset that would have been a thousand times more advanced and enjoyable than what we experienced.

I normally don’t review things, but I felt compelled for this one. In a word, the experience is LAME… Why you ask? 1- VR quality is not good. If you’ve used oculus, think maybe 50% as good. This hinders immersion, 2- too many people for the room size. We had like maybe 8 people in a fairly small room. Nothing screams immersion like walking into people every few mins, 3- the game design is poor (I did Halloween one). Majority of tasks are so mundane (like clicking for virtual candy for 5 mins). There’s 1 or 2 somewhat “exciting” tasks but this represents the minority of gameplay and is more than negated due to poor immersion. I honestly would have left after 10 mins if I didn’t feel bad for the workers… I went here due to good reviews and maybe other experiences are better designs, but the technology is not good so I don’t see how that would be fun. They also could set the room up better and not have so many people if they are going to have such cheap equipment. I’m honestly surprised there are many good reviews but maybe some are fake?
This has been a long, almost years personal in our life. My entire family dynamic is growing up on us (as planned) as far as my children. My Aunt Debbie and my parents need me/my husband around pretty much 24/7 these days. Today was my wedding anniversary night out. My husband asked what we should do and I challenged him to find something new (with our budget). He was so excited with the marketing Verse Immersive Chicago did to convince him that this VR event would somehow put him and I together to walk hand in hand in a half hour to 45 minutes globe, we should have been able to pretend a beautiful unforeseen land. NOPE that wasn’t it at all. Truth be told my older boys own VR’c and we could have saved $100 and found a game or app that would have actually done what we thought we were going to do. On a positive note I still won! My score was 1836.00 and my husbands was 555. I hope these are all good vibing numbers 💃🏻🕺🏻💃🏻🕺🏻 When the game was over after half the time I was reading/listening to instructions. “Advice create a walk through the land of Avatar with that beautiful live Tree they have couples will love.” This would have been so special if it was real. I would have loved to be able to see my husband, holding his hand and be on this magical hike. I hope you all can make improvements. Please and thank you!
This was a great experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the games and how to work the headsets. We purchased the pass which allowed for two immersive experiences and a kinetic game. All and all about an hour and a half which left you wanting to do more. My niece and nephew are already talking about going back next year when they come up for their summer visit. I definitely recommend checking out Verse and all they have to offer!
