Huge selection if you're looking for something specific you just have to see in store first if you can ever get someone to help you. (Except the ammo counter but that only makes you better than walmart) Paying once for the whole day at the range is neat so you're not stressed and rushed but I've never seen more than a handful of people and I do not know how well the Range baffles are. You get what you pay for is what I assume with not a single bit evidence however. Lots of nifty accessories as well but generally no one is going to help you buy it. The worst of it imo for someone is if you do their "partnered" conceal carry course. It looks super cheap and offered by the range except oh wait Range fees not included. So I don't see the real consumer savings point. Their milsurp ammo selection is slowly evaporating as I couldn't find 9mm Makarov but alas with the politics I can't exactly say its their fault but even other milsurp calibers seem less available or fewer options. Also just straight up not even competitive with other brick and mortar stores.
If you like shitty service, this is the place for you . I failed to understand how this place stays in business. My husband and I were in the market for a shotgun and came in. No one helped us for 15 minutes well another couple walked through the door, and they helped them immediately. When we finally did get somebody to come to the shotgun and rifle counter, the unhelpful clerk behind the counter requested our void cards. As my husband tried to bring it up on his cell phone. He was rudely told that online copy was unacceptable. It should be noted that Illinois no longer issues physical FOID cards upon renewal.

I've shopped at this store for 20 years. They used to be great, I've had a few very good experiences at this store many years ago, I've purchased multiple firearms from them as well as accessories. This store, unfortunately, has gone dramatically downhill. It seems right around the COVID time, the store changed and seemingly turned in to a place that dislikes gun owners. You can't even walk in to the place without showing a FOID card despite the store selling things that do not require a FOID card to purchase. If are are granted admission in to the store, you get treated as if you're a second class citizen. The staff there is unfriendly, rude and acts as if you are a bother to them. No one is friendly, no one is helpful. There are other firearm and firearm supply stores in the area that treat their guests respectfully and appreciate their business, I suggest you go see one of them instead of wasting your time here.
Incredible how horrible the service at this store is. I came in from out of state and they barked orders at me like I was a new recruit in basic training. They actually told me I couldn’t text or use my phone, absolutely hilarious!!! They invited me to go to another store. This place deserves zero star ratings and I see why I was the only customer in this huge store. ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC!!!
Incredible selection. The staff is friendly. However I cannot recommend the range. There is no air movement in there. You feel it on a hot day in July. I don't care if the light is on in the machine room, you need to feel a breeze to not be breathing lead. And last month they stopped stocking lead removal soap outside. Not sure what the owner is thinking.
