Couldn’t say enough great things about this escape room & Philippe. My son and I first did the Tree House Room. We enjoyed all the different type of puzzles in the room and Philipee was great with giving clues when needed but still giving us a chance to solve. We enjoyed our time so much we went back later in the day to do the Game Show Room. We were excited Philippe was our host again. He was great with my son and we had the best time!!
My family had a fantastic time at this escape room last month! We did the Treehouse room, and it was such a fun and engaging adventure. Ben, our game master, was amazing. His energy, guidance, and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. His presence truly elevated the whole experience, and we really appreciated his support. We had an awesome time at Escape Factor tonight! Brandon was a terrific host for our group of 9 (ages 10-70’s). The Bonus Fun Time Game Show Challenge was fun yet challenging. We solved the puzzle with a few min to spare and would definitely love to come back to check out the other rooms. I highly recommend Escape Factor:-)
We had a blast at Escape Factor! Eight of us experienced players had a great time with the Bonus Game Show room and Timekeeper room. Brandon, our GM was amazing! He explained everything we needed to know ahead of time and was very upbeat and fun. After each game, he wanted to make sure to go over anything we were confused by or wanted to understand better -which we really appreciate in a GM! After we were done, Brandon gave us great restaurant recommendations in the area and did not disappoint! (We ended up eating at Fat Duck, which is just about a block away.) The facilities at Escape Factor are clean, the rooms are well themed and designed, and, it's awesome that they create their own games! Benjamin at the front desk was very personable and helpful, getting us checked in all set when we got there, and helped us add extra players that were able to come at the last minute. I hope to come back and do their other two rooms, but keep in mind they are meant for smaller groups, ideally max six people. Tips: Game Show room is nice and bright and easily fit our group of eight with plenty of fun puzzles to do! Timekeeper room was darker, and a little smaller, but still had enough space for all eight of us to work in different areas on different puzzles. Both were heavy on a variety of locks - but if you can't see the tiny numbers/letters, they even provide reading glasses to borrow - too cool! (As someone with 50 year-old eyes now, I really appreciate 😁.) Oh, And Brandon made sure to thoroughly explain the clue request process as well as to see if we wanted any "nudges' along the way - loved that! (Some places don't give any nudges, or they make you pay for clues, or they give too much away with their hints - not at Escape Factor, and Brandon was fantastic!)
Fun and unique puzzles in a cute neighborhood! Closest escape room to our hotel at O’Hare Airport (20 minutes) and directly on our route back to the hotel from our visit downtown (another 40 minutes due to traffic)…so a great evening activity for us! Yes, we did escape! No, we will never find this same game anywhere else, because this is a local operation. Shout out to Gamemasters Brandon & Philippe for being in character throughout the Gameshow experience, and allowing us to peek into the other rooms too!
