If you’ve never been, if you’ve ever thought about it or even mildly curious about axe throwing/knife throwing, this is where you want to go. The team very welcoming and literally walk you through throwing techniques with axes, knives, etc. There are a lot of places like this in Atlanta but this place has definitely won me over. They make you very comfortable and confident even if you can’t throw a knife to save your life 🤣😂 Don’t be afraid of knives bouncing back, or hurting yourself because it’s almost impossible to hurt yourself or someone else once you follow their instructions. The backboard absorbs all of the force of whatever you’re throwing and if they do bounce back the floor mats absorbs all the force and they drop with no bounce.

Bury The Hatchet has a strict no-refund policy once payment is received. Any cancellation provides a credit that can be used to reschedule a session within two years from the original cancellation date. This place is awesome! I was pleasantly surprised that the awesome music they were playing was not too loud, good drinks, & we got great instructions on our throws! There was also ample space between lanes & nobody felt too close (Sensory approved!) Thanks BTH for making my bf's birthday special. We even both got some bulls-eyes! As long as you read everything on their site, you should be well-prepared. Just make sure to eat a good meal beforehand, as you'll work up an appetite quick! I cant wait to come back!!
We had an amazing time at Bury the Hatchet! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was exciting, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. A huge shoutout to Anthony—he was beyond patient, super friendly, and an absolute pro at teaching us the ropes. None of us were axe-throwing experts when we arrived, but thanks to Anthony’s guidance, tips, and encouragement, we went from total beginners to feeling like axe masters by the end of our session. He made the experience both fun and safe, ensuring we had a blast while improving our throws. If you’re looking for a fun, unique activity with great people and top-notch instruction, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be coming back for another round—hopefully to impress Anthony with our new skills! Highly recommend!
Great place for a 1st date, date night, after work event or you want to throw axes with a group of buds. Grab a drink, go over the rules with a knowledgeable instructor & start throwing! It doesn’t get much better than at Bury The Hatchet! 🪓💪😉
