Our guide was super nice and provided great explanations for beginners. She also gave us a kids target, with plastic axes and darts for our little one. We went on a Friday afternoon when no one was there to celebrate one of my friends finishing chemo. They had great songs (even made a custom axe cancer sign) and offered to take tons of pictures. Everyone was friendly and the service was great. We had a great time.
My experience was a great one. REED went over everything with us as a refresher, because we have thrown before. Austin made sure we were comfortable with our experience. They have a two for Tuesday's and a new Ladies night on Thursday's with free cocktail for the Ladies. I recommend you visit. The axe throwing community is small, and they even know others I've met at different places. I love this about the community. Thank u!!

This is a nice place to hang out at! My friends and I didn't throw axes, but the people who did looked like they were having fun. I liked that it wasn't too loud, despite the fact that it was busy. Nice, easy going place, with friendly staff and great cocktails!
A friend invited me, knowing it was something I’d always wanted to try but never got around to. From the moment we arrived, the vibes were on point. I started off at the bar and tried their espresso martini—wow. Smooth, delicious, and dangerously good! Then came the main event: axe throwing. I was honestly a little nervous, but that quickly faded thanks to one of the instructors (I wish I had gotten her name—she might’ve been Spanish). She was absolutely incredible. Super knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely encouraging. She broke down the stance, the grip, the throw—all in a way that made it feel fun and empowering. Even when my axe hit the floor (more than once!), she kept cheering me on like I was a pro in the making. With her guidance, I finally landed a solid throw on the target—and let me tell you, that feeling is unmatched. It was such a rush! Huge shoutout to her for making the night so special. The atmosphere, the drinks, the instruction—it was all top-tier. I had a blast, learned something new, and I’ll definitely be back. If you’re even a little curious about trying axe throwing, The Axe Trap is 100% the place to go.
This was my first time going axe throwing. It was so much fun. The staff did a wonderful job of explaining the does and don’t for safety. The drinks were really good! I will definitely be coming back.
