For rifle and handgun ranges, it's $12 plus tax per day. Archery-only range is also $12 plus tax per day. Sporting clays are $38 for 100 targets, and trap/5-stand are 38 cents per clay.

Are there any age-based discounts for younger visitors?

Yes, youth aged 15 and under shoot for free on rifle, handgun, and archery ranges when accompanied by a paying adult (21 and up). There's also a 15% discount for youth (15 and under) on sporting clays and 5-stand, applicable to up to three adults per group, provided one adult is 21 or older.

What are the operating hours and closure days for the range?

Normal operating hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Thursday, and Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The range is closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

The range accepts both cash and all major credit cards for payment.

Are the shooting ranges supervised?

Yes, both the rifle and handgun ranges are supervised by trained range safety officers and dedicated volunteers to ensure a safe environment.

What equipment do I need to bring, and what is available for purchase or rent?

You'll need to bring targets for the rifle and handgun ranges, or you can purchase them at the concession store. Eye and ear protection, and ammunition are also available for sale. For sporting clays, rental shotguns and clay carts are offered.

Tenoroc is a very good choice in the Lakeland / Polk County area for people who want a well-maintained, safe range without needing a membership. If you’re shooting occasionally, or bring family (especially younger people), the prices are reasonable and the environment is supportive. For dedicated target shooters, the variety of ranges, safety personnel, and facilities make it more than adequate.
