Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel
Absolutely amazing staff – huge thanks to Laura! We had a wonderful stay at Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel, but what truly made our experience exceptional was Laura at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with incredible enthusiasm, a warm smile, and such positive energy that we instantly felt at home. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Laura is an absolute gem, and the hotel should truly value having such an outstanding employee! She definitely deserves recognition or a reward for her excellent work. During our stay, we encountered one issue – water was leaking heavily from the air conditioning unit. As soon as we informed the front desk, they immediately offered to send maintenance and, if the issue couldn’t be fixed, to move us to another room. A technician arrived within minutes, and the problem was completely resolved within 15 minutes – we really appreciated the quick response. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay, and we’ll gladly return to this hotel again – especially because of Laura’s fantastic service!
I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights and overall had a decent experience. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the rate was very reasonable for a short stay. The beds were very comfortable. There are, however, a few areas that could use some improvement. The shower needs updating—the water pressure was very low, which made it a bit frustrating. I also saw a small roach on the first night, which was concerning. Additionally, guests in the room next door were playing loud music at one point, but thankfully it didn’t last long. Overall 4/5

This hotel was everything I hoped it would be and more. While everything when you come to Disney or universal and just say the word Orlando… is expensive. This place is beyond reasonable. And the service is extraordinary. We got in at like 9:30 pm and were greeted by Ivo up front and he was absolutely amazing. He gave us so much attention and kindness and positive energy. He was helpful about ALL aspects of our stay more like a concierge and I wasn’t expecting that and was so pleased. The room is clean and good and the location is good too. I highly recommend.

Despite our late arrival around 9 PM, Maria greeted us with incredible warmth and energy. She was not only friendly and professional but also truly helpful. While checking us in, Maria took the time to share insights about life in Florida and offered thoughtful suggestions for our trip. Her local perspective made us feel instantly connected to the area, and her positive attitude was genuinely uplifting after a long travel day. It’s rare to encounter someone who combines hospitality, knowledge, and warmth so naturally. Maria made us feel truly welcome, and her presence was a highlight of our stay. Highly recommended!
We stayed at the hotel from May 23rd to May 25th and had a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the front desk team, who were always helpful and smiling. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Luciana, who assisted us with exceptional kindness and professionalism, her service was outstanding! Our room was spotless, smelled great, and had all the basic amenities we needed. The view from our room overlooking the lake was absolutely stunning. Waking up to that scenery was one of the highlights of our stay. We loved every detail and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a truly welcoming experience.
